Basketball is the second most played team sport in the UK. It is a sport that transcends generations and reaches beyond social boundaries and has a unique ability to connect communities and improve lives.
3x3 basketball is growing in popularity and is now featuring in the Olympics. 3x3 is a fast, exciting and highly accessible game played on a half court with teams of three.
Established in 2021, LDN Warriors is the first and only semi-professional 3x3 basketball organisation in the UK. Apart from winning competitions, their key vision is to increase participation in 3x3 basketball across the UK and increase community outreach as part of the basketball programme.
LDN Warriors core values of leadership, respect, ambition, teamwork and success resonates with us at Citrine Research. We were keen to partner with LDN Warriors to support their programme as despite the growing popularity of the sport we know that funding is hard to come by.
We are excited for the 2024 season to commence and wish both teams success. We are looking forward to cheering them on courtside and hoping they will surpass the successes of the 2023 season.
